How the dinner idea generator works

The tool picks at random from a collection of 82 everyday dinner dishes, split into six categories: pasta and noodles, meat mains, fish and seafood, vegetarian dishes, pizza, and quick meals ready in minutes. Uncheck the categories you're not in the mood for and hit "Another one!" until an idea makes you hungry โ€” the tool avoids showing you the same dish twice in a row. We give you the idea, not the recipe: the fun part is making it your own way.

A trick to stop asking yourself every night

The question "what's for dinner?" often burns more energy than the cooking itself. Many households solve it with a mini weekly menu: on Sunday, pick 5-6 ideas (you can even draw them here, category by category โ€” one pasta, one fish, one pizzaโ€ฆ) and do a single focused grocery run. Save the "Quick & easy" picks for late nights and the longer dishes for the weekend.
