Carousel photo splitter
Upload a panoramic photo and cut it into 2 or 3 perfectly equal parts: posted in order on Instagram, they form one seamless, continuous carousel.
JPG, PNG or WebP โ the image never leaves your device
How a seamless carousel works
Instagram displays carousel photos side by side: split a single panoramic image into slices of identical width, and as you swipe through the slides your eye reads them as one big continuous photo. The trick is in the precision of the cut โ even a single pixel of difference between the parts creates a visible seam. This tool computes the split down to the pixel and numbers the files (part-1, part-2, part-3) so you upload them in the right order.
What aspect ratio should the original photo have?
For a clean result, start from a very wide image: 3 square slides call for a 3:1 ratio (e.g. 3240ร1080 px), 2 slides for 2:1. If the proportions aren't exact, no problem: each part keeps the original height, and Instagram applies the same crop to every slide, so the continuity stays perfect. The parts are exported as high-quality JPGs, ready to post.
