What Unicode small caps are
Small caps display letters with the shape of capitals but the height of lowercase letters. In word processors it's usually a font effect, which disappears the moment you paste the text somewhere else. This tool uses real Unicode characters instead — like ᴀ, ʙ and ᴄ, most of them borrowed from the International Phonetic Alphabet — so the effect survives wherever you paste it: Instagram and TikTok bios, WhatsApp statuses, usernames, comments and YouTube titles.
Limitations worth knowing before you use it
Unicode doesn't provide a small capital for every letter: Q is rendered with the similar-looking "ǫ" and X stays lowercase. Accented vowels (á, è, ö…) are converted by stacking the accent on top of the small character, and in some fonts the result can look slightly misaligned. Finally, keep in mind that screen readers may pronounce these symbols oddly: great for style, best avoided for important communication.
