Click speed test
Pick a duration, then click inside the area as fast as you can: when time runs out you'll see your CPS (clicks per second) and your personal best.
Your first click starts the timer.
What is CPS and what counts as a good score?
CPS stands for "clicks per second" โ the number of mouse clicks you complete in one second. Most people land between 5 and 7 CPS with regular one-finger clicking; anything above 8 CPS is genuinely fast, and trained gamers push past 10. Short 5-second runs usually score higher than 10-second ones because your finger tires quickly, so for a fair comparison always match results against tests of the same length.
Techniques for clicking faster
Score chasers rely on specific techniques: jitter clicking uses a controlled vibration of the forearm, butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on the same button, and drag clicking slides a finger across the edge of the button to register extra clicks. Your gear matters too โ light switches respond sooner โ and so does hand position: a rested wrist and a relaxed finger beat tense muscles every time.
